Growing up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Michael learned discipline and hard work from his family with a paper route at age 11 and through working at various jobs throughout high school and college.  He also learned to bleed black and gold.  Michael graduated from Leechburg High School as Class President and moved on to North Central University.  Playing basketball in college taught Michael time management and focus skills.  After graduating with a B.A., he went on to work with a couple non-profits, eventually getting into the Financial Services industry in 2005. 

Having endured the financial crisis of 2008 and many highs and lows of the economy, Michael believes his own experience helps him guide clients through their short- and long-term retirement goals and develop practical and diversified strategies. He also credits HJ Sims with opening a new avenue of investments that can further diversify his clients’ portfolios to help meet their future income and estate planning needs.

Michael is passionate about his family, including his wife, Christine, and their two daughters, Ariana and Lydia.  Michael enjoys basketball, golf, pickleball, and other outdoor activities.  He coaches basketball at New Life Academy and has active volunteer leadership roles at River Valley Church.
