Jason H. Diamond is Managing Principal and Chief Financial Officer of HJ Sims. His career spans 27 years in the financial services and accounting industries.

Prior to joining Sims, Mr. Diamond served as Chief Financial Officer of The Advest Group, one of the leading, regional financial services firms in the country with 90 branch offices and 1600 employees. Previously, he was President of Signator Investors, Inc., the broker/dealer subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Network. Mr. Diamond joined the company as Chief Financial Officer and shortly thereafter assumed leadership of the organization as President. During his tenure with Signator, Mr. Diamond led the company’s repositioning and expansion as a top tier broker/dealer providing a comprehensive investment platform for advisors and clients.

Before joining John Hancock, Mr. Diamond worked for Wall Street Investor Services, a full service NYSE Registered Securities Brokerage Firm, where he advanced from Corporate Controller to Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was a Senior Auditor with the Regional Accounting firm Richard A. Eisner and Co. where he specialized in the firm’s Financial Services Group.

Mr. Diamond is a graduate of Brooklyn College and is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
